Summer Program
The number one goal of our summer progam is to give you a taste of life as a Foley associate. The program is our main source for hiring new associates so it is in our best interest to expose summer associates to the same type of work our new associates perform.
Our summer associates attend conferences with clients and other attorneys; attend court proceedings, depositions, hearings, and negotiations; draft legal documents for clients; attend closings; and more.
Your 12 weeks with us isn’t focused exclusively on work; we also want you to get to know our Foley family as well as the city in which you may someday practice.
We have a summer calendar full of activities designed for just that purpose. From FoleyFest — our popular summer associate weekend retreat, this year in San Francisco, at the Grand Hyatt — to a whole host of other fun outings, you will get to know your fellow summer associates as both colleagues and friends.
Our offices are located in bustling metropolitan areas throughout the country and we want our summer associates to experience the exciting activities these cities offer.
So, leave your text books at school because for 12 weeks you’ll be working with our top lawyers on real projects and big league cases, getting a glimpse of your future as a lawyer and having a great time while you do it.
