Chicago is the fastest growing location in the firm and the central hub of the firm’s marketing endeavors. In February 2001, Hopkins & Sutter merged with Foley & Lardner. The combination resulted in nearly 200 attorneys in our Chicago office, almost doubling its size. The merger strengthens our position as one of the leading law firms in the country, augmenting our energy, airport, and insurance industry practices, in particular.
Our Chicago office represents a broad range of practice areas, with a diverse and growing client base from manufacturers to stock and commodities exchanges, broker dealers, to banks and commodities firms. Despite the demands of practice in such a busy office, we’re never too busy to enjoy — and foster — the harmonious atmosphere that is a hallmark of our Chicago practice and our firm as a whole.
